Heart to Heart

Our married and engaged couples ministry is meeting once again NEXT weekend, on Saturday, May 19th, at 7 PM for dessert at the Solts and a time of fellowship and discussion.  Please contact David Hensler (DavidSHensler@gmail.com) if you have questions or would like to attend.

USC Medical Center

On Sunday, May 20, we have a great opportunity to bring the Gospel to the sick and injured, recovering and failing, by inviting patients to a chapel service at the hospital. Please contact BRYAN INGHAM (bryan@bryaningham.com) if you are interested, and meet at the seminary fountain at 2:00 PM on the 20th. We especially need someone who can play and lead music/worship, someone to bring juice and cookies for after the service, and people willing to just sit with the visitors and encourage them with spiritual conversations and the Gospel.

Small Groups

One of the most practical ways we can grow in discipleship and encouraging one another is through the Small Groups we have available.  Small Groups are gender-specific groups of about 3-6 people who meet weekly with the goal of selflessly loving, serving, encouraging and edifying one another toward Christ.  If you'd like to join a small group or have questions, you can contact Luke Granlund (lukegranlund@gmail.com) who oversees and coordinates our groups.  We generally desire small group members to be members of Grace Church, progressing toward membership, or faithful members of a like-minded church.

Directory

Over the next few weeks, we will be updating our "sheep list" where people can indicate whether or not they view Foundation as their primary ministry home (this has Scriptural implications for you, and also for Hohn, as our group's shepherd).  That list will be available Friday evenings.  We are also continuing to update the Foundation directory; you can do so by providing the following information to Neeva Walters (NeevaWalters@gmail.com):

Prayer

Bryan Ingham will be instituting a new way for people to make their prayer requests known so that Foundation saints can lift them up.  Prayer sheets will be distributed on Friday, but you can also e-mail Bryan at bryan@bryaningham.com with any information. Obviously, please do not include anything that you would not want made public on this e-mail list. :-) Finally, we still have our weekly prayer meeting at 6:45 PM before Foundation in the basement conference room adjacent to our meeting room.
